We are a family-owned Catholic agency of 36 years (since 1990) based in Minnesota, USA. Jerry and Colleen Schwarzbauer, founders of JeriCo Christian Journeys, specialize in Catholic journeys throughout the world. You may notice that JeriCo is not spelled like Jericho- that's because 'Jer' and 'Co' comes from the names of our founders.
Some of the more popular destinations are the Holy Land, Greece, Rome and much more of Italy, Marian Shrines such as Guadalupe in Mexico City, Lourdes in France & Fatima in Portugal, as well as others.
A pilgrimage is unique, it is not a tour - it serves as an outward expression of our inner response to the Lord’s invitation to follow Him. As of July 1, 2024, Maureen and Steve Anderson have officially joined the family business! With a shared passion for faith-based travel, we are committed to helping people deepen their faith through meaningful pilgrimages and spiritual journeys. At the same time, we immerse the group in local culture, cuisine and historical landmarks through safe and easy travel arrangements.
We are excited to continue the beautiful legacy of JeriCo, founded by Colleen and Jerry, by providing the exceptional service our traveling companions have come to love and trust. We've also been adding new domestic trips including Wisconsin Marian Shrines, Ark Encounter in Kentucky and California Missions and Wineries.
All Christian journeys can be customized to your desire....your destination, your date, your church, your spiritual director. We are happy to help you plan and promote your journey, or feel free to have a closed or private pilgrimage if this is your desire.
