Itinerary:​

Day 1: Head to Europe (pre-extension)

Depart New Orleans for overnight flight.  Get excited for an AMAZING pilgrimage.

Day 2: Prague (pre-extension)

Arrive in Prague, check in to your hotel and then relax on a scenic evening dinner cruise along the Vitava River.  Admire the spectacular views of Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral and the famous Charles Bridge all lit up at night.  Seeing these monuments from the water brings a sense of tranquility and is a perfect way to capture the unique atmosphere of Prague.  



Day 3: Prague (pre-extension)

Explore Prague's rich history & spiritual heritage including the Church of Our Lady Victorious with the miraculous Infant of Prague.  Marvel at iconic landmarks such as Charles Bridge, Old Town Square and Prague Castle.  After lunch, visit Prague Castle.  Despite successive fires and invasions, it is one of the mot remarkable, sumptuous, and emblematic remnants of the city's great historical, cultural, and social past.  In the interior the complex houses Prague Cathedral, St. George's Convent, St. George's Basilica, and the Royal Palace.  These places have ancient art, galleries of Bohemian, Renaissance and Baroque paintings. 

Day 4: Svatahora (pre-extension)

Continue touring Prague in the morning.  In the afternoon drive to Svata Hora (Holy Mountain), the most important Marian pilgrimage site in the Czech Republic.  Just like pilgrims since the 17th century, visit the stunning Baroque basilica and cloister complex, home to Our Lady of Svata Hora.  Pilgrims have been coming here since the 17th century to pray, seek, healing, and express devotion.  Then we will drive to Ceskie Budziejowice/Cesky Krumlov for dinner and then settle in at a centrally located hotel.

Day 5: Cesky Krumlov (pre-extension)

Morning panoramic tour of Cesky Krumlov, medieval city in the banks of the Vitava River.  Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Walk by important monuments and the castle that dominates over the city.  So you know this is a special stop!  Then drive to Salzburg for dinner and overnight. 

Day 6: Salzburg (pre-extension)

Salzburg, the City of Mozart nestled in the Austrian Alps!  Tour the historic Old Town, Mirabell Gardens, Hohensalzburg, and Salzburg Cathedral.  It's a perfect blend of culture, history and faith.  After lunch on your own, visit Maria Plain, the famous pilgrimage church and miraculous image of the Virgin Mary.  Built in the 17th century, it offers beautiful views of the city and the Alps.

Day 7: Salzburg & Cruise (pre-extension)

Some free time in the morning before driving to Passau, Germany to board the Viking River cruise. Dinner on board.

Day 8: Passau & Cruise

Visit Passau, known as the "City of Three Rivers," one of Bavaria's oldest cities.  Explore with a local guide including St. Stephen's Cathedral, which houses one of the world's largest pipe organs.  With its baroque architecture, peaceful riverfront, and spiritual atmosphere, Passau offers pilgrims a place of reflection and inspiration on their journey.

Day 9: Linz & Cruise

Visit charming Linz with local guide to explore this stop on the Danube river.  As part of the Jakobsweg (Way of St. James), the city offers spiritual rest and reflection.  Visit the majestic New Cathedral, Austria's largest church, and the historic Old Cathedral, both inviting moments of prayer and quiet.  Linz combines sacred beauty with a warm welcome - a perfect place to pause, reflect, and continue your journey with renewed spirit.  

Day 10: Krems & Cruise

Krems, located in Austria's scenic Wachau Valley, is a historic town with deep spiritual roots.  As a stop on the famous Way of St. James pilgrimage route.  Krems offers visitors peaceful churches, centuries-old monasteries, and a serene atmosphere ideal for reflection.  Visit the Gottweig Abbey, and see its ceiling frescoes, grand staircase, and church.

Day 11: Vienna & Cruise

Vienna is a city full of imperial charm, music and deep spiritual heritage.   Admire landmarks like Schönbrunn Palace and the Gothic St. Stephen's Cathedral, with its gleaming spire and colorful roof tiles.  St. Stephen's Cathedral is not only a symbol of the city but also a major place of worship.View the beautiful Vienna State Opera concert hall and its frescoes depicting Mozart's opera The Magic Flute.  See the Hofburg Palace, winter residence of the Hapsburgs and home of the Spanish Riding School Lipizzaner horses.  Other sacred sites include the Votive Church, the Church of St. Peter, and Maria am Gestade, one of Vienna's oldest churches.  Vienna beautifully combines cultural treasures with places of prayer and reflection.  In the afternoon visit Schönbrunn Palace, one of Austria's most important monuments and one of the most impressive Baroque palaces in Europe.  Located in Vienna, it served as the summer residence of the Austrian imperial family, including the famous Empress Sissi.

Day 12: Bratislava & Cruise

Your guide will greet you and invite you for the fully private Bratislava city sightseeing.  Drive along the Presidential Palace, Palisady district, a district full of villas built in style of functionalism at the beginning of 20th century.  Continue to Bratislava Castle (UNESCO), where we will stop for a short photo opportunity.  Continue to Slavin Monument to take in a breathtaking view of Bratislava.  Continue the tour on foot, to discover Bratislava's downtown-  Opera House, Reduta Building, Man at Work Statue, Main Square, Maximilian Fountain, Old Town Hall, Primates Palace, St. Michael's Gate, Hungarian Royal Chamber Palace, St Martin's Cathedral & many more.

Day 13: Budapest & Cruise

Begin the tour of Budapest.  Discover the beauty and spiritual richness of this city through its grand architecture and deep faith.  Admire the Parliament, Buda Castle and the stunning panorama of the Danube.  Visit sacred places like St. Stephen's Basilica, housing the relic of Hungary's first king, and the historic Matthias Church.  A journey through culture, history, and devotion in the heart of Central Europe.  Visit the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Máriaremete.

Day 14: Budapest & Cruise

While the cruise ends the fun doesn't!  Meet with your guide and continue the tour of Budapest.  Experience the Esztergom Basilica, the largest cathedral in the country and the Esztergom medieval fortress.  The region is also know for its picturesque riverside walks and charming cafes and restaurants.  Esztergom offers a combination of rich history, stunning architecture, and natural beauty, making it a fascinating stop for tourists.  Then visit the charming riverside town of Szentendre with numerous galleries museums, and craft shops.  Its Mediterranean atmosphere and rich cultural heritage make Szentendre a perfect destination for a relaxing and inspiring getaway.  We will head back to Budapest for a farewell dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 15: Depart for USA

Breakfast at hotel, head to airport and home with amazing memories of Europe.
